The most common cause is a transient loss of oil to the VVT valves. It often happens when you get to the top of a ramp off the hiway and stop (oil sloshing). Could be a slight blockage on the VVT valve screens.
A bad WSS should cause an ABS light.
The reasoning is: if the engine is not running right you don't need ESC or TC and to alert the crash dummy in the driver seat.
Search the site or just look at the bottom of this page in Related Topics.
This is why no CEL but enough to to turn the traction and ESC off.

X2 in checking the connections first! And test the voltage of your battery, static not running should be above 12.5 volts, engine running should be above 14.4 volts. There could be a break in the wire harness between the hub and the strut

See the pinched insulation on the wires

https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/prob...45-code-61793/

this is about the rear hubs, but the principal applies to the front hubs and abs wires.

ANY problem with a wheel speed sensor would trigger the ABS light.
Once again; the most common cause of "Service ESC and Traction Control light" is a malfunctioning VVT valve. Ignore me and throw your money around to no avail.

I plan to run a can of seafoam through the block before the next oil change to clean out any sludge and build up, hopefully.... Getting ready to head out and investigate , armed with extra knowledge ! Thanks for all your input, Ill be back with conclusions if any.

And P0014/P0010/P0011/P0013 clears as soon as the condition goes away. So unless you are getting real time DTC data you won't see them.

Cleaning the screens is usually futile.

BTW; you did clear the codes when you disconnected the battery, that's why the EVAP is "not ready".

Is there something wrong with that scanner? After saying that EVAP monitor is incomplete, 4 N/As, and a bunch of OKs, it then says 10 N/As, 1 OK, and 0 INC.

I've never heard of a car battery doing this.
As they age sulfation can occur. And liquid in the battery can evaporate.
Can you post proof of this ?

The VVT solenoids are in the top of the engine, passenger side . The intake is grey the exhaust is black.

As in this photo , I had P0014 code , I changed the solenoids and the loose stretched timing chain.
