So cel has been on due to evap gas leak... let wife drive 1 time and I got back into a Christmas tree dash..

now says service traction, Tc, cel and abs. All the stores are closed to get codes read so I guess I'll see if any new codes tomorrow and post the codes...

Also brake fluid is good. Both front rotors are new and pads are new, a long with slides for the calipers.

reading all the searched material now.

it did do the low traction other day on dry pavement then surged forward.

First guess is something wrong with a wheel speed sensor.

I know steering wheel shakes now and when braking its yanking to left and nose diving. Going tomorrow to get cel read

Check hub wiring for the ABS.

I had the codes pulled, still just the Evap codes...
So I think im gonna pull the shocks, springs and front set up off of the wrecked HHR. I picked up new inner/outer tie rods.. I guess pick up 2 new wheel hubs, and rebuild the front end and see what happens.

Check all the wires while im under there, see if any chaffing or nice little critters bit into them..

You comment in #5 leads to severe brake trouble.

I thought that to, but i dont know where to look at for that.. It was shaking steering wheel and nose diving to the front driver-side when I bought it (no where near as bad as it is now). So I replaced the caliper on that side, along with slide pins on both sides, cleaned up caliper bracket on both sides. New Pads and new Rotors. The shake and nose dive was still there after replacing all that (went way down, but not back with full force), along with very weak gas pedal... I need to research more on that issue.

Kindf of like the passenger side is NOT working instead of the driver side working too good? That would cause the ABS related things because one wheel is turning at a different rate.
