I used to have a Hurst shifter or at least the handle on all of my old stick shifts. Does anyone make a handle or shifter for my 2011 automatic?

 

2012 automatic "what" ? The last HHR's were 2011 models.

 

For the HHR automatic, I had to make my own shifter

Yeah looking at the exploded view I think I could make a bezel with the line lock rings like the Hurst V Matic

 

Don't forget the OD button.

 

Nobody seems to list anything for the 4T45 transmission!!! There's an OD button? I'll have to look for it.

 

Grab the knob and look where your thumb lands. Maybe I'm thinking of my other car.

 

No OD button in our trucklets.

 

Once I finish the paint, fenders and running boards I'll probably pull the shifter apart and see what I can Melwood Engineer. I like the double ring lockout and T handle. I think if I engage the lockout mechanism in the console it should work nicely. I'll probably add a proper bellows instead of the Pleather sack on the shaft.
