Just wondering if anybody else has seen this?
I've got an '09 SS, 5 spd. When I get the car moving the first time after starting, the doors lock (as expected) but I get a jump in the speedo when this happens. It's really quick and goes back to where it should be, but I'm wondering if this apparent power surge could cause the speedo to fail. I haven't really noticed if any other gauge jumps or not (guess I'll have to pay closer attention).

 

When I get in my 06 and shut the door the radio will flash on even if off. You have to look quick to see it. When I 1st got it I was thinking I was seeing things. But when other people said did the radio just go on & off, Did you see it too I would say. 56K+ still works so must be OK. still weird! O and my speedo moves when I put in park and doors unlock too

 

My speedo jumped when I was backing up at very slow speeds. only seen it happen one time and that was last night. I will start watching for it when the doors lock. I will keep you posted.

 

my speedo will freeze while im driving .. has happend 4 or 5 times
ill be going like 30 and slow down to 0 at stop light.. and when i stop
it still says in doing like 25.. and my rpms will stay up at like 3-4k ..
ive taken it to dealer.. and of course the car stops acting up while they check it out
