All a matter of opinion. Can't imagine how my little 2" round ones could work any better, maybe reflecting directly into my eye so I don't have to turn my head?

Oh please they work the same and the GM fit the mirror better per they shaped like it.
If you want the $3 ones they will work fine and if you want to add another GM option and the GM ones are a little larger it is also a good choice.
It is only a matter of if you want to spend the money or not and that is up to the buyer and is a personel choice. Ther is no right or wrong.
If any spot mirror keep you from crushing a panel or someone else's it is woth what ever you paid $3 or $30.
