Squeaky suspension

Has anyone experienced squeaky suspension when it is cold?
The dealer will not look at it unless they hear it. But it is usually to warm in town. I work in the mountains where it can get to 20 below zero. It is worse when temps are below 20. I think it is the sway bar bushings but not sure.

I had it once last winter but it was only one day and it went away.

I've heard plenty of people complain about this... I don't drive my HHR in the winter, so it doesn't effect me....

my 2010 hhr ss has that same noise in the winter.bushing i believe.

Yeah,it's a sway bar bushing noise called "squawk".No fix for it for our cars.GM 'W" body cars had the same noise several years ago and the fix for them was a Teflon lined bushing.

Mine does this alot in the winter, its very annoying.

Same squeaks here. This morning it was -40F and I drove the car 110 miles. The squeaks seemed the worst during gradual dips in the road. Sharp dips did not cause the squeak. The front struts and sway links have been replaced within the last 25K miles.

Give ur sway bar bushings a shot of graphite lube such as whats used in key tumblers....

It happened to me when we were in Canada called the dealer there he said bushings need lube I never went in cause it stopped so can't say which ones need it.

It normally goes away with warmer and dryer temps. Just hard urethane bushings.
