Sub woofer fit
Sub woofer fit
First, hi to everyone. I'm fairly new to this site and this is my first post. Last year I bought a 2006 orange HHR LT with 12K miles on the odometer. The car has been great. I'm getting almost 33 MPG with the 2.2 Liter motor.
I'm looking at upgrades and decided the sound system was a good place to start. I have the standard sound system with CD player and jack for an MP3 player. The premium system from Pioneer has a sub woofer. Can that sub be used with the system I have? If not, can anyone recommend a sub that would work and also fit into the round section made for such an item?
Thanks a lot in advance for any help.

buy the stock sub box, buy a line level converter(i have one for sale cheap), 8 in sub or stock sub, some kind of amp, voila you have a stock looking sound system, oh and dont forget the stock or an aftermarket speaker grill.
