I just joined the forum so forgive me if I've overlooked this on the "Search" site. Is there a brand/vender that makes an HHR specific, two-piece sun shade for our cars? If so, who and where? Thanks in advance.

I just bought the smallest two-piece sun shades that Walmart had. The HHR was listed on the back of the package as one of the compatible vehicles. That being said they still don't fit perfectly thanks to the windshield on the HHR being smaller than most other cars, but they still do a really good job and I've been using them for over 2 years now. I definitely notice a difference on those hot summer days and they're protecting the dash from fading too.

 

Yeah most brands the smallest size will fit hhrs. However I found with my cheap one piece foldable shade that I had to cut a slot a few inches down from the top to fit behind the mirror.

 

I have tried a few different shades, none fit right.
I haven't bought it yet, but i saw one that is custom made for the HHR on fleebay for like $35.
I may break down and buy one this year.

 

They fit fine if you don't try to tuck them under the mirror. ;-)
