Thanks SoCal

Hi Mike,
Got my parts yesterday and they are all on. The shorty antenna was actually on within 5 minutes of opening the package. The stickers look great against the black border of the back window. And the brake light HHR was a snap. The panal pulled right out. My only concern was putting the sticker on upside down since my orientation was off with the tailgate up :D (Then I would really look like an idiot).

Thanks for the speedy service.

Glad everything arrived safely - we aim to please! :thumb:

Now you MUST post some pics!

Unfortunately, it is snowing so I cant do pic's yet. But, as the snow began I finally got around to removing the emblems. They came off fairly easily with a heat gun and some dental floss. Removing the residual tape with hot air and alcohol began great, but their are some little specs that are more difficult. I hoped wax would help (as it did with removing the yellow cab paint). I will see more in the daylight. And pictures will follow. The SoCal decals look really classy. I have the forum decal on the top part of the rear window, and your decal on the bottom. Had I planned better, I would have preferred to have both on top, on either side. Maybe I will do that in the future.

The radio seems to have good reception with the tiny antenna, which I find hard to believe. Why do people use the big ones anymore?

Actually the HHR uses a special twisted antenna cable that allows it to get better reception. That is the secret!
