Yeah, that would be most cool! I do like the phaeton idea however....decisions, decisions.

OK, here goes, expanding on the phaeton look. Make the back gate either a flip-down pickup style or a left-to-right opening ala station wagon. Integrate a rollbar at the back and around the windshield to add back structural integrity. Make the back two doors unuseable and fill in the openings. Add a two-tone wood floor to the back (doing away with the two rear seats if you desire). The possibilities at this point seem endless.

summer fun!!!!! 2 many cars

sorry for the long delay, but i,m still here working on the vert and now starting a new custom,the vert has a new rear axle now so it drives much better got a front window post so thats next then start capping the tops of the doors and qtrs, and start on a rear bed cover not sure if its going to be inside and flus or over hang the qtrs,maybe weld up the back doors too ??? well here are some pics ,

here is the new project maybe like the one posted 4door short cab ????

and here is the ugly,but these cars hold up well to damage!!

I like seeing the wrecked HHRs. Seeing the different HHR Accident victims that I have, I'm increasingly reassured that if I am in an accident, my daughters and wife will walk away from it.
