Pretty freaking cool stuff! I like seeing the wrecks, though my insurance company probably wouldn't. Looks like a car that will crumple easily but protect you pretty well in the end. Just don't go asking for it to be repaired unless you chop a roof or more off...

Doubt it. That car is getting stripped and scrapped. Drivetrain and steel scrap are worth more than the effort to complete the project, especially on eBay.

 

hi , sorry for the let down but the site here does not like my posts or pics and its to hard to get answers to how far they want in my pockets to post here so i do not , as to the vert its a blast ,the wife loves driving it and it get tons of looks ,but times are tuff and my shop lost 5 jobs as to the cars i work on are not daily drivers and not first on the payment plan for them now so we are slow and part sales are very low just look at my auctions,,,,sorry i will get in trouble for that here????? but owell, they think i,m making a killing NOT!!!! i,m not ready to scrape it but bottom line is food or car thats just fun just like my lost work ,,,well good luck to u all ,i hope u all make it and do well ,stay upright its just tough now i still have the white one we my turn into a beach buggy ?? i have ideas for it ,,,,,,,, keep your tires on the road and be safe!!dave&crystal out!!! ok i give i still look at the site and read the posts, and yes i still have the vert and did get some work done on it and think i can get a bug vert top frame to work with some mods to it reshaping the cross bars and changing a few small things just not sure if i want a working top or carson or just a rear cover?? what 2 do !! now its a 2 door,,,
