I turn a used brake rotor backwards and that hides the studs so they don’t hit the rim. I only jack up the left front tire, take that one off, fasten the rotor and put the tire I’m changing valve stem/TPMS sensors. I’ll try to remember to do a video about it in March or April .

Well…just found out some thing cool…boil the tpms in water and it soften the epoxy ….I just replaced the battery in one of my old ones with 2032 battery…and thats what the old one was in it. It works…car read it
Hmm, a CR2032? Can’t see one of those last 8 to 10 years, but maybe!
Idk….thats what was in it….same 2032…same 3 v
I’m just surprised, they only last a summer in my bicycle speedometer, and 6 to 8 months in our bathroom scale.
….eell the next 3 didnt go so well where as I accidentally tore off some small surface mount components…,those 3 were little different from the first one I did…but I did learn from it….only and carefully remove the epoxy potting compound at the end of the pc board next to the battery. It come off better over the battery itself
Oh…also looked closer at batteries in those 3…,they are 2050HR, 3V….maybe longer life…idk
Looks like the 2050hr is 550 mah vs 2032 is 200 mah…
…probably one differences in cheap tpms and pricey ones
Anyway….cool thing is being able to soften up the epoxy…
