That transmission was built just up the road on Glendale Ave in St. Catherine’s Ontario.

According to my calculations 3.91 would mean about 2400 rpms vs 3.63 2200 rpm now at 68

Final drive ratio….

So I been looking at few videos about these transmissions and since I dont see a ring and pinion gear anywhere….I dont understand how the final drive ratio is established. Honestly I am far from knowledgeable about automatic transmissions but I dont really consider myself to be stupid but maybe I am….can someone explain to me how that works? I see the chain and sprockets but dont believe that would manage a 3.63 or 3.91
