Recommendations for DextronVI trans fluid ? Thinking be good Idea to change fluid and filter in 2011 hhr lt…2.2

 

I’ve used Mobile in my 2007, and I put Castrol synthetic in my 2011, both times I installed an AC Delco filter, wiped off and cleaned the OEM gasket, (Dawn and water) and retorqued the bolts to the specifications of 106 inch pounds . It’s an 8 mm socket for the bolts. Be careful not to over tighten them !

 

Ok….my concern is the gasket maybe hardened from time and heat, but if not be nice to be able to re-use it.

 

Dex VI is a synthetic formula, Brand doesn't make much difference beyond price.
