Wheel Tubs Going In

The rear of the car is coming along nicely. The driver side tub is pretty much complete. Passenger side is 1/2 way. The tubs are wider than I originally thought they would be. The plan was to not modify the lower plastic interior panels over the rear wheels. That's not going to happen. If you measure between the interior panels on a stock HHR you will get 42 inches. I have 36 inches between tubs. So much for the stock looking interior. My plan was to build a total sleeper but its becoming more of a Pro Stock HHR. When I think about it, full roll cage, rwd, wicked sounding V8.......who am I kidding?

Sure, it's got Cobalt SS (non Brembo) front disc and Camaro Z28 rear disc. I would love to locate some SS Brembos for the front that are reasonably priced but I haven't found any yet.
