Vacuum Connection?
 

There appears to be a tube for a vacuum connection that is part of the engine oil dipstick mounting. On my 2009 HHR 2.2 there is nothing connected to it. Is there something missing, or is it for something else?

It is on all of them from what I have seen and read. Mine has it as well. Purchased mine new in 08 and it has always been that way. Nothing to worry about.

I don't know what it is for but , apparently Jerry Seinfeld designed it ! It's all about nothing!

I think they use the same bit for a Cadillac or something. It's just there to make new owners scratch their heads.

I guess it's worse know that I have owned this car since new (Mar 09) and I just noticed it!:roflol:

It's like your Appendix, just there and harmless...most of the time.
