On the 08 vin engine size is the 8th digit. D=2.2 P=2.4

Mikes search shows it's a LS.
Boydies sig says he has a LT.

Yup Boydie, she's an LS Panel with a 4T-45E Auto Trans.

The 5th and 6th digits of the VIN indicate "A8" = LS Panel/Automatic.

Here's a VIN Decoding Utility we're thinking about adding to our toolbar, give it a try and see what y'all think.

The site has so much stuff on it's homepage, I think most people would end up claiming that they want personal info and/or money. (NOT TRUE)

Those folks would be willing to work with us on a modified and Perma-Linked version of their VIN decoder, like only Chevrolet vehicles...etc.

That would eliminate most of the extraneous stuff, y'all just need to play with it a bit and let me know if that's whst we should pursue.
