Waiting on Custom Order...Will I ever get it?
 

I orderd my 08 HHR back in march and have yet to get it. How long has it taken you all to recieve custom factory ordered HHR?:confused:

I am sure that the American Axle strike is what has affected delivery of your HHR. From what I have read, the strike just ended last week after nearly 3 months. The HHR is one of the vehicles whose production was halted by GM during the strike.

Call your dealer. Production is back up. The dealer should have a ETA on your HHR. OR...drive down to Mexico and pick it you yourself! Just don't drink the water!! LOL!!

You might be getting strung along.
 

My HHR was ordered on April 22nd(right after the supposed shut down was announced) and was built May 15th,four days before it was announced that GM was resuming full production.In talking with the sales manager at my local dealership,he told me that he was getting HHRs all during the 4 weeks that GM supposedly had halted production.So I think that there was limited production going on all during that time.Call or visit your dealership and lean on your salesman to find out what's going on with your car.Good luck.

We hadn't received any HHRs until last week. Everything that came in were white fleet vehicles for Coca-Cola. We have not received a stock unit HHR since the strike began.

You're doing better than I am.Mine was supposed to be in last week but it' s been sitting in the New Boston,Mi.distribution yard.Supposedly now it'll be at my dealer today or Monday.All digits crossed while excitedly awaiting the new ride.

It seems like alot of vendor problems hit about the same time as that American Axle strike. I'm still waiting for my armrest parts to come in. I guess I should have used my VIN and ordered it with a SPAC case attached. Oh well.
