What’s it worth?

2009 SS

123k miles - does not run, needs a new engine.

Not sure If I’m in the right place but I just want to know about how much it could be worth and if it’s better to sell or junk.

I don’t have many pics of the car unfortunately. I did show the current damage to the passenger side of the car that was never repaired since this was my car to commute back and forth to college.

Why does it need a new engine? Timing chain skip or break?

It looks to be totaled, if the engine is actually dead. 123K is pretty low mileage for death.
I see a good $4,000 body damage BlueBook says it is worth about $4,999 running in average condition, yours is below average.

Craigslist or bring a trailer might be the way to go. Sad but hey, it’s at least 15 to 16 years old , it’s restorable for an enthusiast with time and cash flow.

Lots of body damage and mechanically challenged motor.
Two major strikes against value.
As good as it looks on the left side, I'd have to be honest and say it's a parts car to someone or to the salvage yard.
$500 maybe on a good day?

Agreed, salvage will just be scrap weight, you could list it here in our Marketplace see if anyone is interested

If it’s not too rusty underneath (and it prolly is,) someone will want to fix it. Or part it out. Way too much hidden for an accurate guess. Can’t even see the bumper covers, lol. Gain trust by at least showing interior shots and whole car and underneath. List it for say $1500 OBO. Adjust price per hidden stuff. Shouldn’t take long to move it.
