"These guys" don't know nothing about market prices! That was the question I was attempting to address by directing you to a website that is "THE authority" on car pricing.

I am always amazed at how many people do not know about Google, I do not know your level of knowledge. I was trying to get you the answer to your question, without my doing any actual work. If you already did that research the question was moot. Owner's perspective on price does not tell you anything. I am not going to do research because I already did it for myself in 2008 and then again in 2012.

My opinion of the car in question is: you've probably waited too long to talk to the guy. If you had done internet researching you could have had your answers in minutes, not days. It seems like a good price to me, but I don't know nothing.

I don't mean to sound "Friday Testy", if that's the way this sounds. Just clarifying.

 

At 70k miles you'd want to have it checked out by a competent mechanic. You'd also want to know how it was serviced over the years. $8200 is not small change. I would listen to what Donbrew is saying and look through the Kelly Blue Book. I would also (like I did ) go on Google and explore these cars. The information is out there and it could save your butt.

 

No problem Don. I guess asking about pricing is sketchy at best.
I just bought a different one but will start a new thread. I think that one was below what deals were in this area, especially if you compare prices at dealers.
