well I thought of drinking all the beer 1st but then driving would have been out of the question....so I took the risk being over the weight limit

thanks, sometimes I even surprise myself...my wife still can't believe I designed and build it.

Good choice! (waiting to drink the beer later)

I just showed Mr. Bumpstops your pictures. He asked what would have happened if you had to hard brake stop with all that wood? He's a smarty pants sometimes! I wondered if the passenger side air bag would have deployed and kept the boards from going through the windshield. Hypothetically speaking.

thats a good question, but I think the pass. side air bag is turned on by the weight of someone sitting in the front seat...and with the seat folded over I'm not sure if the sensor would notice the weight....anyway, it was a short drive (about 2 miles) took my time and left a lot of space between me and the guy in front of me....

I've carried my large frame mountain bike inside!! I was very happy to have gotten it in and not had to borrow my hubbys car with the bike rack!! I LOVE this car!!
