What is this called?

What is it that prevents the rear tires from locking up when pulling the e-brake?

Has anyone tried (or is it even possible) to re-tune the car without traction control, and whatever ^^ above is called?

If you have a SS the rear parking brake are on the calipers and they dont seem to want to lock up the rear. At least on mine

It is, all kind of bells and whistles go off if you pull up the e-brake and it just slows you down. If there is a way to turn that off through a tune, it would be nice.

This IS NOT an emergency brake, it is called a PARKING BRAKE and it is designed to prevent a vehicle from moving when parked. The FMVSS do not require the PARKING BRAKE to stop a moving vehicle.

Ok, I guess the more specific question is, are there any adjustments that can be made to said parking brake, that would cause it to lock up the back tires?
