I really envy all of you, able to do all the work to your cars yourselves. Yeah, I could learn, but I still don't have the time and space and car-specific tools

(I do many of my own home repairs, though, so I'm not a complete waste.)

Thanks Cat Man , I fixed it , should read dual A/C .

today we scurry around , off to the bank, insurance company, we have to clean out the garage.
I looked up dimensions for her Sunfire and her Terrain and the Sunfire is almost the same length
so, we can bring her new baby home on Wednesday.
As for the HHR, I watched it back out of the driveway as Sweetie took it to pickup her Mom , she likes to shop on Mondays

Blue
The Terrain is the same as the Equinox.
I know it's not me buying it but I like the grill on the Equinox better.
Also like the Sunburst orange.

Yes, Cat Man she tried both and got a better deal on the Terrain.
Also today the oil life light came on, so a pit stop with Dan , we changed the oil filter and the oil , and replaced the crank shaft balancer seal.
the one in there was slinging oil out at anything over 2,500 rpm.
This resulted in oil consumption of a quart a week.
There was no dripping oil in the driveway, but I had Dan rev it up to 3,000 rpm and he called out the 500 rpm increments.
It slung oil from 2,500 to 3,000. We checked with the same test after the new seal was installed and no oil slinging! Up to 3,500 rpm.
I wiped down the front engine cover to clean the oil off and noted the frame was sticky with oil but it was mixed with salt and sloop off the road , so it wouldn’t drip.
It’s only 24 degrees F out there so, we’ll check again in a week or so.
We’ll be getting up to 10 inches of snow tomorrow, and freezing rain.

Blue- I think your lil woman picked a nice ride. I'm really not so much into new rides. But I do like the GMC Terrain, it looks rugged.

"getting up to 10 inches of snow" Wow !!! I'm airing up the tires on my riding mower, gonna overseed the yard maybe tomorrow. Then in 2 weeks or so the mowing begins.

Reminds me of a joke where the punch line goes along the lines of ... So the bartender say's "You can be a real dick sometimes Superman" :)

I have my tracked snowblower at the ready and a bucket of salt by the front door.
