This looks like a great deal but the 'compatibility chart' reads: 'This part is not compatible with 2011 Chevrolet HHR LS Wagon 4-Door 2.2L 2198CC 134Cu. In. l4 FLEX DOHC Naturally Aspirated.'

I just had to put my elbows up and drive like a nut case until I could get in a spot to reach down and pull the pedal up.( and pull over to change my pants)
Speed- Good you navigated thru that wild ordeal. That'll get yer attention.

I have the OE carpeted mats, besides the retaining hole, they look like porcupine skin on the underside with spikes. They are not moving.

Went over to visit with fastsuv, he has almost got the transmission out of Oldblue, it’s nice he has a lift and string sons to help him extract it.

Today , if you’re a numbers person is quite unique, 02/02/2020.
Groundhog Day and the SuperBowl. So enjoy this Sunday, drive safe and look forward to an early spring.

What can do it put long 1/8" pop rivets (it's called the reach) in them so the "bumps" go a little deeper into the carpet. It does help.

my mechanic sourced them so I don’t know. It was hard for him to find them, they may have come from gm.

Can I just say I had to share this with all my friends that were with me when I just purchased my HHR last week, and ALL of them laughed HISTERICALLY! Most have said that if a Tinder Date had sat down in the car and farted in their HHR, that it would be grounds for a quick pull over and drop off at the nearest curb. Especially if there's not been any nookie beforehand. lol!!! Thanks for sharing that TMI It was good for a few laughs.

Today, so far, (I'm sure many or most of you have already done this, but pardon I'm a new owner)... I have replaced the original cloth fresh air intake hose with a much nicer and much more flexible poly pipe. First glance under the hood, and I immediately knew that the ridiculous cloth one had to go!

(ADD-ON) For other new owners, I guess I could have made a 2 minute video showing how easy it is to remove the staples and the glue, and twist on a new hose right in the place of the other two rubber end fittings. The only simple mod to the rubber I had to make was to make 6 slightly V-Shaped slits in the glued male side of the rubber fender piece, so that it could compress about 1/4" smaller to fit snugly inside of the new poly tube. Then I just added a little marine sealant before I screwed it in to secure it a little better. Took about 15 minutes total.
