2011 2 2 100K, running great, slight 2-second rattle at startup once in awhile, so I pulled the valve cover. Chain tight, everything looks great... until I look down where the front guide is supposed to be. The upper bolt looks lovely, but the guide has left the chat.

Was thinking about chains anyway. Program has accelerated. Car is parked. ZZP upgraded guide in stock. More parts on the way. Should be completed by the end of the week.

( This is the one with the wonky right front window, BTW. Don't know which will be fixed first. Could the chain problem have caused the window problem? )

Pick N pull felt like Christmas morning

Went to pick n pull for the first time, I was surprisingly satisfied with what I pulled.

Couple years ago I backed into a sign and never could justify repainting. I found the same year and paint code replacement bumper (see photo)

Replacement rear seat folding knobs (both of mine were sheared)

Oil fill tube (ruined mine removing the air filter).

Rubbers I was missing for the cup holders and door pulls

Extra shelf for the trunk

Spent $90 total!

Because the 40 is too thick at operating temperature, or because the 0 is too thin when cold?

Hang in there sleeper, one day you’ll find the one!

Today more treatments and then it’s the weekend! Perhaps a drive in the country side!
