I know that's an old school trick that I've used for many many years on just about all my door, hood or trunk rubber....but it has it's drawbacks as well. I have thought about the silicone spray but not sure if it leaves a film or soakes into the rubber. I definatly don't like any residue left on the doors I have to wash off.....

It's kind of funny how this topic comes up. It has a presence here as well as 2 other forums, at the same time.

Took a nice long space cruise and ate a sushi restaraunt. Car seemed very eager in the suddenly cooler (80s) temperatures. When I got home, wife says we got approved for the rental house we applied for. Now I've got to get motivated and hook up my hitch and air shocks.

LOL, yep, I ate the whole restaraunt. All gone now. Thank you, I'm looking forward to getting out of this way too small apartment with the parking lot that makes me nervous about my vehicles.

Well good luck on the move. It's amazing how much stuff one can collect over time..

Moving always makes me aware of that..

Thank you sleeper. Since I've anticipated this day, I've been using my HHR to move a lot of stuff to my storage unit so I have only the essentials to move. In fact, when I moved into the apartment from a house, (decided to downsize and save $$ after the prior landlord refused to fix the A/C) I moved the entire house's contents using my HHR. (excepting items too large, bed, couch, etc.) Now it is time to move back up to a house before my wife goes off the rails from apartment living.
