...which makes sense. granted, it's nostalgic look(like that of a '49 Chevy) hence "heritage"

"high roof"...yea, I guess...since it's a car.

but the name HHR...love it. it follows along the lines of it's sister car(truck) the SSR.

seems to stay consistent with the name-train.

alot more than

RMW= retro mid-size wagon

a phonetic mouthfull is the HHR SS

Mine is called "Hot, Horny, and Ready" A little perverse, however, it fits me. Although, I don't actually think the ladies dig the HHR all that much! LOL

I always thought it would be cool to see Chevrolet make a Nomad retro wagon. A little longer with a flatter roof, '57 styled fenders, chrome strips down the tailgate and only two doors. I doubt if it would sell many… but it would definitely be an eye-catcher for us nostalgia types.
BTW, One of my other cars is a Fiero.

Don't believe what you read on the internet. Another short run retro car for GM? Not in it's present state. The weak sales of the 04-06 GTO and the 04-06 SSR come to mind. I just don't see it happening

A few years back when they closed the printing place I had been working at we were in some pretty uncertain times. My wife had been trying to come up with some catchy thing for the letters so I told her the way things are going, it might stand for Homeless Hot Rod.

That New Years we went to my younger brothers for dinner and a New Years party and stuff and his wife's gay brother and his significant other came too. They had just bought a new HHR and were shocked to see one already parked at my brothers house.

My sister in laws brother said they proudly call theirs the Homo Hot Rod.
