What will you trade your HHR for ?
I love my HHR - one for the body style and because it is a 5-speed. But if the chance came - I would trade it for a used BMW Z3 with the 6 cylinder engine and 5-speed tranny. Test drove a couple used ones last weekend - damn they are quick and ride great. Unfortunately they were not the color I am looking for - one was dark green and the other was silver. Kids are getting old enough to fend for themselves and I think it is time for a two seat car for the wife and I. I would prefer to find a Sapphire Blue one with grey or black interior like the ones pictured below. Gently used and in good shape with less than 100,000 miles on it.
I look at Equinox, Terrain, Sorento,Tucson, SantaFe.. I need to see where the economy is going before I make any move. I like the versatility of the size of the HHR. Too bad GM killed it off.
I agree, And i'll say it again, If i could order a new SS panel , I would'nt be looking.
I'm hoping to swing , Keeping the SS for work , And finding a gently used V In a year and a half , For messing with the Jap guys.
A gently used V
, I'm such a dreamer.

I'm keeping the SS, but I want an EVO or a WRX badly... but I know my wife won't let me near one.(she is due for a new car and wants an EVO, and will be mad as hell if I touch it, or try and drive it) Truth is, she wants to see me in the rear-view mirror for a change and an EVO will most definately do that.... but not without a fight.
I am looking very strongly at a 2012 Jeep wrangler. We will need a different car to tow behind our motor home. Don't want to get rid of my panel I get lots of complements on the car especially the ghost flames on the hood. We will be retiring in 1 year and need to find a new ride to take with us. Just waiting for the right options to pull the trigger on a new car.
I'm giving serious consideration to the 2012 Beetle. When turbocharged it puts out 210 hp. They've gone retro on the dashboard, given decent storage and widened and flattened the top. Two tone leather available and most importantly for me in the Northeast, front-wheel drive.
I would love a Mustang or Camaro, but just can't handle RWD in our winters. Already have a Toyota Solara convertible that goes up for the winter, so I've got to get an all-year round car.

I plan on driving my 2008 with 26K on the clock for another 6-8 years probably. I don't see anything on the market I'd like so I don't know...
Probably a 4 door Wrangler but I'd miss the economy. I'm also partial to a 4 door medium pick-up.

I traded my SS in for a 2011 VW Routan SE and will never look back. The VW dealership experience has been much more pleasant than the multiple Chevy ones I've been at (there was only one good one out of like 5 I brought the car to).
After that's paid off, wife wants a Lotus Exige, but I want a Golf R or Fiat 500 Abarth.
