One of the Triumphs that runs on the same Autocross weekends as I do has the Lucas Fridge joke on a bumper sticker, he's also usually seen under the bonnet cursing out something on that TR-3A before every run.

But at least his Triumph is a paragon of reliability compared to the poor guy from Albemarle with the TR-7, that car is evil.

 

843de, Mike the SU carbs were not that bad. When I had two Bug-Eyes I had it down to a science, I could take both carbs off and rebuild them, reinstall then sync and adjust them and still drink a beer in an hour. Thankfully the rebuild kits were cheap because they were junk.
