Who would buy it? or your best reasonable offer...

2006 Chevrolet HHR LT Sport WagonPrice: $6,995
Year: 2006*
Make: *Chevrolet**
Model: *HHR**
Series: *LT Sport Wagon**
Body Style: SUV*
Stock Number: 992571
VIN: 3GNDA23P36S592571
Mileage: 45,000
Engine: 4-Cyl, 2.2 Liter
Transmission: Automatic
Exterior Color: Black*
Interior Color: Beige*

Is this realistic? Posted on Craigslist by a reputable local used car dealer. Just the plain Jane basic model.
Look around for mostly entertainment in the used market. Rarely see a well optioned HHR for sale.
One in SoCal 1/4 panel high mileage (125k) has been listed by a dealer since August 2019 at $5,995. That's the only attraction the AA5? (1/4 panel) option code.

Well. It's not a plain Jane basic model. That would be a LS. This one is listed as a LT, so it would have some upgrades over the basic LS.
AND, it only show 45k miles. For a 14 year old car that's very low miles. Lower mileage usually means less wear and tear for it's age.
But since you say it's on Craigslist, who knows. Never had much faith in that site.

Make an offer if it looks good to you.
Check websites that give you idea what it might be going for .
Where is it being sold ?
Desert cars are the best location.

Link? Any pics associated? WIth the 2.2 it's a 1LT. If the ad is true, that's a good find.

Top of my head seems to be $1000-$1500 overpriced.

2.2 could be an LS also.
I know, I owned one.

06 hhr

I had an 06 LT and traded it in 2014 with 133,000 miles as at that time it was worth $1800. No issues with the car,but GM had nothing in their line that was a good replacement.

Cat Man- Yes but it is listed as a Series: *LT Sport Wagon** If that is correct, it is a 1LT.

According to the VIN search this is the back of said car...

Note the tailpipe tip.

Dealer's listing also says it's a 2.4L....
