Just going to turn 191000 this afternoon, runs great, but think it might be time again for front brakes, and rear shocks- front struts seem ok.
I was looking at the possability of replacing at 200k, but now it looks like have to keep it for a few more years, I want a HHR SS, and leather seats, I figure if I spend so much time in my car that at least should be fun and cool.

I know I'm not a contender for most miles at this time but when I took the picture yesterday I put pen to paper & I'm averaging 47.42 miles per day, yes this is my DD.

That's great. Any major repairs, rebuilds? How is the car holding up overall, rattles, squeaks, wear? Even if it gives up tomorrow, you've gotten your money's worth. That seems rare these days.

Hit 94,000 miles on the SS today , Under 7,000 on the motor .

Needs tires bad with under 35,000 miles on the eagle GT's , they been on under 20 months.

At 180,000 I had to have the head reworked because of a burnt valve. I don't have a clue what happened. I just replace a front wheel hub to repair my abs. I replaced struts and shocks at about 245,000 miles. I had something wierd happen around the 100,000 mile mark. The car overheated a little bit before I pulled over to let it cool down. At the dealership the next day they told me that I was about a gallon low on coolant, but they could not find any leaks and compression test was good. The night before the overheating I had my car in to NTB to get my tires rotated and they slid a cut off nail inside my tread on one tire and tried to sell me a new tire. I didn't bite and the nail fell out on my way home. I believe that they also may have siphoned out my coolant thinking that I would come back to them. I will never go back there again!
