I have a popup blocker maybe that's why I don't see it. I have Adguard on Chrome. Not sure which is blocking popups.
I know Adguard cuts the big ad at the top out. |

I know Adguard cuts the big ad at the top out. I doubled checked that my pop up blocker is on and also added this forum. Tried Fire Fox,IE and Chrome and still get that Help Guide pop up.. Bet it only does it for non tech people like me lol. Oh well Guess I will live with it.. Thanks for trying to help |
I get that after I clear browsing history. But only once.

Up Date: Cleared my browsing history and first had to log in. Then I got the pop up screen. In small letters in the middle of the screen it says "exit guide" selected and hit enter and it doesn't show up again until I again clear browsing history. Up Date again: I am looking at different subjects on the forum. It doesn't matter which one. I now get that pop up screen all the time. Up Date again again: This pop up won't stop. Going to reboot and see if something changes. OK I'm back and the pop up window is constant now. |
SO I am not alone :O Let me find out how to clear the cache maybe that might do it ?

No I did that and it still the same. I used CCleaner. I'm going to try the browser cleaning tool on my PC. I have Windows 10.

Click on that and you will see a menu. Select "More Tools" When that opens select "Clear Browsing Data" hit enter, sit back and let it do it's thing. Another update: Just ran my paid subscriptions to Norton and MalwareBytes just to see. Same thing no change with the pop up screen. |

Put your cursor (arrow) on the three dots and left click your mouse button. Menu will show up.

Ole Blue
Are you reading this ? When this help screen was new didn't you install it ? Thanks |
I never clear my history or cookies. Maybe that is why I never see those popups.
You need to specify what browser you are using as they all have different options. I.E., Edge, Chrome, Firefox etc. Windows 10 has both I.E. and Edge. |
Cat Man , no, I didn’t install it, When I use log out , I get a screen showing, cookies cleared. I’m using Apple iOS 12.1.2 or so on my IPhone 8S. It is to do with the Windows 10 and the pop up blockers. Oldblue. |
OK I'm in with my Windows 10 laptop, no issues , no pop ups, no hassels.
|
Does it on my Win 10. Fire Fox Chrome and IE
|
Try a reboot |
Install adguard on Chrome. I seem to recall the latest FireFox update did something to popup blockers.
