I agree with opening the rear windows even just a little or open the sunroof all the way.

 

Opening the rear window will solve the issue. Just don't ever open the rear window first while driving on the interstate.

 

Your pushing a "brick" through the air......this isn't a Corvette. The aerodynamics, suck, big time.

I guess I should correct the terminology "slightly". It's not necessary the aerodynamics....it's the style from about 8 inches in front of the windscreen, back.

 

Make sure the front windows a completely up, roll the back window completely down and drive about 60 mph, you won’t have any ear drums to worry about, ……… they will be shattered!

 

I find the wind anoying also when driving with the windows down, and I don't roll the back windows down all the way do to the roof going into spasms and making low freguency noises like a woofer. I don't have the vents so I don't know if those lessen the effect of the wind or not...

Now you know why I just purchased vents. Along with cracking the rear window this goes along way in cutting the wind, however it's not a total cure.

 

Yes I have , know what you are talking about.....I also have sensitive ears, especially my right ear. Use cotton balls, I always have a small piece, rolled into a ball in my right ear, year round, if the A/C hits it long enough without the cotton, I get an ear ache. I always have a spare and put one in my left ear when in the SS with the windows down, also as mentioned above, opening the back windows does help. But try the cotton, it works great.
