Wooooohoooooo!

Bet you all forgot about me. Well, I'm Back! And Really happy.

I finally did it! I am the proud new owner of a new HHR. Signed the papers tonight at 8:00. I'll pick it up at noon tomorrow.

Daytona Blue 1LT
2.4 Eco, Auto tranny, and 7 Speaker sound are the only options it has. Not exactly what I wanted, but I had to buy what I found on the lot since my old car croaked yesterday.

My old hooptie (88 Caprice) finally died. Engine started knocking really bad at lunch yesterday. Had to have my my wife come pick me up after work yesterday for fear that it might throw a rod on the drive home. So today, I took the day off, shopped around and bought my HHR. The dealership is a lot shorter drive from work than my house and the old hooptie barely made it. Oil pressure dropped to bottom about 1/4 mile from the dealership today, then it died as I pulled into the parking lot. But I made it. And they can dispose of the beast.

Anyway, I am so excited. I get my new baby tomorrow. Probably won't sleep much tonight.

I guess I better change my avatar to a blue one now. Maybe Ill get a black one when/if the SS comes out.

Congratulations! Besides the color, ours are nearly identically equipped. Did they give you anything as a trade?

Perry - Yes, Believe it or not. Got a whopping $250 for it. Better than me having to pay a wrecker to haul it off.

Cap'n & SI - Sorry. I got pretty sidetracked over the holiday. Got pretty busy. I've been keeping watch over your posts though. Just haven't had much time to contribute.

Oh yeah - This is my 100th post! Maybe someday I'll catch up to the Captain... Naah!

Congrats! Welcome to the HHR family! I've barely had mine for two weeks. It's funny. I got my HHR trucked in from Dallas because no one here in Austin had what I was looking for. Again...Welcome!
