Have'nt Posted in a While

Hello All.

I have received an Important Letter from Mary Barra THE GM CEO concerning the HHR Panel that I am driving. I find this to be very interesting in that I do NOT OWN this ride. It is borrowed.

There are other documents that are addressed to the Owner of Record. Perhaps your passengers are getting threatening letters as well.

Thanks for all your help to date. Would anyone care to explain?

Just thought to UPDATE this post as TODAY September 13 2014 IS THE LAST DAY OF MY ENGINE WARRANTY!!!!

Actually it is up on the 14th but in Illinois Auto Dealers are CLOSED on Sundays by Law.

I trust that whatever Bigshots know what they are doing. I am a Federal Construction Engineer and I will certainly figure it out for them, Period!

UPDATE Sept. 14 2014. I have now discovered that the Auto Insurance in doubt. I have made a reasonable attempt to remedy the situation with Allstate Insurance. They is as much told me to go to hell. Additionally, that I must speak with an Allstate Agent during normal business hours. That would mean Mon.~Fri, 9/5. I have be walking to places of necessity .

As I figured Commander Barra means business. Where Commander Obama is concerned he should acquaint himself with the term "Co~Mingling".

If either one is wanted this HHR Panel they could have just let me know. But that's what's expected from a couple of Vaudevillians.

Have you yourself taken it to a dealer for work or service while borrowed?

Color me confused since the mailing was a benign form letter prompted by GM's legal department, to find it threatening strikes me as being a wee bit paranoid.

But I think whopper nailed it, if the vehicle was serviced at a GM dealership, and the OP used his name and address. Then the GM computer that spit out the letters has him erroneously recorded as the "Owner of Record".

My wife hates the new keys, hard to unlock the doors. Also she says sometimes it feels like they get stuck in the start position.

The keys probably need to be burnished. Drop by any place that cuts keys and ask them to give them a brushing.
Also, does she know that you don't have to hold the key in "start"? Just turn it and let go immediately, the starter will stop when the engine starts.
