Put me squarely in the 80% of recalled Delta-Platform vehicle owners who haven't had the recall done yet, and it's not due to a lack of parts.
Why you might ask? Because my dealer still has a rented field full of vehicles waiting to be cycled through their shop, their techs are overwhelmed, and I want things done correctly. Having worked as a mechanic/tire tech to put myself through college and law school, I know what it's like to be "under the gun" rushing to do too many things in a given shift. It leads to mistakes, customer "come backs", and a general degradation of quality. I love my dealer, I've praised them here many times, but they aren't getting their paws on my HHR's until their techs get caught up. So the parts ordered in for my vehicles have been installed on other customer's cars, at my insistence. |
Me too, perhaps late summer or early fall.

I've been waiting since April.....
|
Dealership wasn't able to get a hold of me because the number they had on my account was from our old landline, that they never updated, despite the multitude of services I have had done.. Goobers. Now scheduled for tomorrow at 4pm for a change out.

Let us know how you make out Kev, we all know your dealer hasn't been a paragon of customer service, or technical expertise. In other words...Goobers.
|
Same here, I am waiting also and I work at a dealership. But the other reason I'am waiting is the parts not rushed built. + 843's reasons are very true
|
Still waiting on parts here.

Got mine fixed today..........new ignition and new door lock and two keys.
