The '08 SS is now for SALE....

Thought long and hard, but it's time to sell the SS, as I am looking to get a
C3 Vette (80 -82) as my DD. The SS just turned 72,000 miles, 98% highway mileage. BFM, auto with all options except roof rack. Also 4 brand new Michelins Pilot A/S tires that were great in the snow. New EBC Red stuff brakes F&R, and new rotors all the way around, even though the stock rotors are still good. Interior is like brand new, paint is near excellent, small tap in back bumper from another vehicle, very minor. Just put new NGK 4306 spark plugs in, installed a WIX AF and a K&N that goes with it. Aeroforce gauge plus the stock one is included along with a new Forge BPV just installed. Engine has the Hahn BSR tune and runs really well. I did have minor problem with the tune and I have narrowed it down to the wastegate actuator solenoid that probably needs replacement as some members here have had it replaced already. I can get up to 34.7 mpg depending on driving conditions to and from work. I usually average 28-30 mph on the highway and about 26.8 local.
Pics upon request, will try to get some posted in the meantime.
Price is $16,500 if interested, just let me know.....thanks for looking....Tom

I love that color. If I was in the market I would consider, especially since you are only an hour from me. Good luck and let us know what kind of price you get for it.

That is a nice ride, and I love that color. 16k w/ 72k on the clock might be tough though. Maybe that is just Texas....

No, I agree. I bought my 08' 2 years ago w/ 16k miles and I paid $14k.

Does $12k sound right?

I could see getting 10k for it. For 16,5 I can get a lot newer of a car with less miles.

Thanks for all of the complements everyone, yea I know the price may be a little high, there is some room in there, but not much. I don't intend to give it away.... I'll end up just keeping it, I just have the bug to get back into a Vette as my DD. But you have to admit, my SS doesn't look like it has that much mileage on it, now does it?

been thinking....

Even though miles may be high, when u consider the condition of the vehicle, miles are just a number. Also with the new and installed items from post #1, it's not such a bad deal at all. Of course l am being bias, because it is my SS. I would consider an offer in the 15k range, but anything lower, I'll just keep it. I feel if is one of the cleanest '08's out there. has not used a drop of oil from day one, always changed with Mobil 1, someone would be very happy with this SS.
