Ok changed air flow sensor checked all connections now runs ruff and blowing black smoke

There are some theories in this thread that say it could be a boost leak.
Boost lost and p0101 code - Cobalt SS Network
Doesn't seem like it would be your problem, though, with the misfires and smoke. You may have got a defective MAF sensor, you could try cleaning your original MAF.

Changed air flow sensor? You mean the MAF? Changed with a new one?

Yes I changed it with a rebuilt one I'm going to get a original from dealer.

Hi, I just went through last week. I found a crack on the inlet on the intercooler. After replacing it I got almost 20lbs of boost. Remember thats the hot side gets brittle faster. Good luck.

Thanks for taking the time to post your fix. After reading the cobalt ss thread it would seem that that code is also related to a boost leak as well, go figure.
