Another Brembo question
Hey guys long time no speak!! Hope everyone is doing well and getting their cars ready for summer!!
i just have a question regarding Brembo caliper brake lines? Can anyone tell me where i can get the crossover brakeline that goes from one side of the pistons to the other please? WITHOUT making it myself lol... Tha ks in advance for any help!! Im not sure if this is something i can buy online for NOS from a dealer... |
Ask a shop to make them, junkyard, someone parting out a SS, buy a new caliper steal the part return.

Looks like make it yourself is easier then finding one online.

It doesn't even seem to be on the diagram. This is supposed to be J56, but I don't see the line you're referring to. It's not on the diagram for the caliper either.

Just for a visual on the car, it's the little steel line at the bottom of the caliper.

Thanks FMG, it appears to be an easy to bend up line, just have to ensure you get the correct flares
|
It actually is on the caliper diagram, very covertly hiding. I was expecting it to be listed as a separate part, but it is not.

I looked thru the Cobalt, ZZP and a couple of other sites, no it’s not available unless you purchase a new or remanufactured caliper

Is it possible to make your own shims that go behind the rotor to centre out the brembos... I figure a piece of sheetmetal the same thickness as the shims u buy from zzp?? Or no? Sorry i know its a dumb question
