So, after 3 months, back and forth with the dealership, getting an attorney to send them a letter, I received a call from the ownership group of the dealership. I told him the long story, and he called me back the next day and they replaced the engine and I agreed to pay the initial $800 that the timing chain and water pump should have cost. In the end as tiapetra suggested, it was the complaint with the state that was the thing that made them come to the table. Thank you!!
