I have an 2008 ss that I installed a few weeks after purchase. It was easy for me cause this is what I do for a living lol. I did full nose full rockers an rear bumpers its a smart investment if your looking to protect your finish. Do yor research for a qualified installer as there are alot of hacks out there.
