Balance Shaft Chain Sprockets
I am changing out the timing chain on my 2009 SS (127K miles).
Cloyes has two kits for the balance shaft chain, one with sprockets and one without. What's the consensus here on whether to replace sprockets or not? It would save $30 but if they are really needed I will spend the extra money. Steve |
Get the kit without the sprockets, you really don’t need the crankshaft sprocket either, if you’re changing the timing chain, you won’t need the crank or VVT camshaft sprockets either
