Brembo Brakes question

Has anyone installed the Brembo calipers on a non brembo SS? If so what is involved, do they bolt right on the same knuckle? Can you use the same rotor? Same or different pads? I don't see a different part number for the pads for a brembo equiped SS......sorry so many questions just trying to touch all the bases here. Thanks in advance for any help..

First off, not sure if they would just bolt up in place of the stock ones, But.....Why? You're not really gaining anything with just the caliper swap.
You should just upgrade the rotors to the larger Brembo sized ones while you're doing this. You would also need to swap out the caliper brackets as well.
And yes, the pads are different. I know that EBC does have the Brembo pads. Part# for Red stuff pads, I think it's DP31539C(might double check the part #)

A couple of members here have done this upgrade. I'm sure someone will chime in and confirm my post( or point out my errors)

I just need to know all the parts involved with this, I'm planning on doing the swap and wanted to make sure I get everything I need first. I figured calipers, rotors, pads and I want to go with new steel braided lines, just wasn't sure if the caliper bracket or knuckle were the same or different ......

Yep, they come with the new bolts, fits right on.

P.S. The Brembos come with their pads on them, I noticed 08 Banshee's made lots of dust so I got the best performance pads they offered, better, but still make dust. They stop so well I don't care about the dust.
