Feline elimination or extermination not an option, and here in Texas its too dry to use water creatively. Just bringing question up again. Thanks for generic cover help but i was hoping for a form fit like I have on my Miata, the fabric attracts cats to scratch it and not paint (mostly). Plus the dust reduction factor as i have carports only love my HHR SS , hate its Black!!

I got a cover for my SS from Empire Covers. They give ratings for all their covers for how well it protects the car in four different categories, including sun. And there are always coupon codes floating around for that site.

Not sure if you want to go to the trouble of covering the whole car every time you park though. I think the sunshade would be a lot easier.
