Clutch Spring

Hello,
I have a 2008 Chevrolet HHR SS. My dad and brother but in a new slave cylinder, new clutch and I also had a new clutch master cylinder but on it. The person who has my car (has had it for like the last 4 months) says that I have to get a clutch spring put on the car now. The clutch is not coming all the way back up like it should. I don;t want to drive it like it is. I don't want it to leave me on the side of the road. I have called Chevrolet dealers here in VA, I called CA and FL not where in this country there is a clutch spring kit! I don't know what else I can do! I am a single person I don't trust just taking my car to a garage cause they may get over on me, my brother and dad don't know what else could be wrong, this guy who has it now (a friend of my brothers) is saying a spring will fix it. I can't even get an after market spring for this car. What can I do? Please help

Here is a detailed examination of the pedal assembly. https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/how-...dal-arm-55769/

The other thing to look for is a damaged firewall where the bolts hold the pedal assembly.

Somebody found the spring in the last couple of years. The pictures I've seen of the spring itself don't show anything special about it.
It looks just like this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/27178962334...MAAOSwBLlU8LkJ

You’re very welcome, good luck, I hope it’s something as simple as that.

Donbrew is not implying that the eBay part is correct for HHR. The books say it only fits Corvette.

The HHR part appears to be unavailable. There is not even a part number that I can find. I'll see if I still have the bag that the last one came in.
