Pure gold. Good find!

Typical snobbish Jag attitude.... downshifts and expects to smoke the competition, but only when he flogs the Jag for all its got does he begin to pull away.... man, the SS was hangin' tough.

Now that produced a good laugh. Almost cried thinking about that guy's face if the SS had gone round him. He was obviously worried about it. I'd like to know the difference in driving skill between the two drivers. The SS might have got him with a better driver. Sounds like the Jag had to work for it anyway. 8^D

And proof, if nothing else I suppose, that suspension sorting at the Ring really must work if it can turn a cartoon Chevy wagon into a would-be XF hustler. Just as well Jag tucked away the Nordschleife miles too.
"cartoon Chevy wagon"
stuffy brits!

yes! we win haha. we pay less than 1/2 of the Jags cost (XF s/c starts at like $62K), and get virtually the same performance around the track, from a WAGON. yay!

the review goes on to say later:

There are no pesky Chevy laundry vans to out-run on the way back, but the XF almost begs to be hustled and leaned on.
