Does anyone love driving their SS as much as me?

08banshee and I discovered that Michelin pilot sports fit the SS rims in the 235x45 size they ride very good, thinking of getting a set for the panel.
FUNNY you should ask, still running originals and they getting slippery but still havnt hit the wear bars..was planning on replacements after I get there before the cold sets in. Was considering the Connie's all weather DWS tire, have a set on the LS and they seem to holding up good.

Ha Ha I thought that too, they hydroplaned here, you are just going to love it here, but you will need some tires with water channeling qualities. The DWS had some awesome traction, but control in the deep was more important to me.

They should be ok on the LS like my LT things happen slower Ha ha

Just finished 1500 mile run last week up and down the California Coast and couldn't be happier. Councourse de Elegance was on in Pebble Beach. Seemed like every car on Highway 1 was 200K and up. All kinds of Italian supercars, high end Germans and some nice, old American muscle. I saw 5 Bugatti Veyrons, nose-to-tail, hammering. FIVE! Ripping through Big Sur with my wife and 2 kids I realized how much fun the SS is. I LOVE having a family car that you can mod a little and rip. The cop who popped me me in Santa Barbara really like the car, too. He even shaved 15mph off the ticket and told me "cruise control is your friend in this car." I think he may be right. ;-)

20,000 miles and still love driving this car. Drivers seat does a good job on my worn out back for long drives. Still amazed what this little 2.0 does when you stand on it and still gets good mpg! Any excuse to run to the grocery store works for me!

I usually get bored with cars after a couple years, but I'm still driving the SS and it is over 4 years old and 80K miles.

Mine is still running good in stock form even at 116500 miles logged. Only warranty issue was a new trans at 9600 miles. Got over a 100k on the replacement. Still a fun little commuter. 190 miles a day mostly at freeway speeds. I expected I would be looking for a replacement by 100k... Don't think its gonna be before 200k now
