Question Downpipe options

I recently purchased a 2008 SS automatic and am looking to upgrade to an off road down pipe and am just curious which company is preferred for performance and reliability with censor issues. Also looking to upgrade the intercooler and hot piping if there's any pro's and con's to certain companies. Could really help to get some info on these parts.

Hahn is the only company that makes a dp specifically for he automatic....there ends up being a difference in length if a regular dp is used with an auto tranny....not sure why. Any of the cobalt parts will fit the hhr. I don't recommend hahn....their customer service sucks and they are way over priced. Zzp, dejon, hahn, treadstone, mpx, badmab all make downpipes. All but dejon and badmab make intercoolers as do genuine sabb and werks. All but mpx and badmab make charge piping.

If you are worried about cel's w/ the downpipe id stay away from the badmab cause it doesn't have an angled o2 bung whereas the others do....that will help prevent the cel's.

I just bought a Bad-Mab DP and I also got a Vibrant Defouler from Modern Performance to go with it. I will see how it goes once I install it hopefully within the next few weeks.

ZZP makes'em for Auto's....I have one on mine...fits perfect. Not to short (like alot of people talk about). Just have to specify when ordered that it's for an Automatic
