Exclamation Dropped a BPV bolt... HELP!

Dropped one of the bolts to the bpv behind the engine and it didn't hit the ground. Can anyone give me some ideas how to find it?

Maybe one of those telescoping magnet tools?

Oh! you did that too.
I dropped one of the bolts myself, that did'nt hit the ground. Crawl under and it will be one the lower cradle[frame] somewhere. "Moon"

Get a magnet device on end of aluminum shaft. Allows you to bend to all kind of formats for crevices.
I dropped it also.....took forever to find it.

Mine was not where Moon's was.

I'm really hoping that reading this will somehow prevent me from dropping the same bolt tomorrow.

Um, that's not a half bad idea, but tie the thread around it next to the head.

i can't seem to find it. At the local hardware store they have the exact same one but a lower grade of it. The dealership said my best option was to just get a replacement and let that one fallout eventually...Will the lower grade make a difference on these?

p.s. I had the dang thing jacked up and the wheel off trying to get in there and see where it went and had no luck...

I'm guessing the lower grade would be fine temporarily. Whether you want to leave it that way is up to you.

that will be fine. just needs to hold it on. I doubt the lower grade will be that much of an issue.
