What is meant by " boost cut on the dyno and not on the street may be because the wg" ?
Are you saying boost cut off on the dyno? What is wg ?

That's wastegate. He's saying that there is much less load when on the dyno.

I always thought that the dyno load was to simulate the road so as to get the true numbers.
Am I incorrect in this?

Depends are we speaking of an engine dyno or a chassis dyno?

this was on a chassis dyno, im thinking dynojet. and yes WG is wastegate was what i was meaning.

Wouldn't you hear the wastegate? Or, be watching real time OBD data; I would expect that on a dyno.

I wasn't scanning/data logging since this was a dyno event and i was the first in line and didn't want to hold up everyone. I don't know what a wg sounds when it's stuck open?
